New Name – Same Mission
Over 40 years, MAI has grown in intentional and organic ways from its beginnings in Southern California, to launching offices in Charlotte, Chicago, High Point, Phoenix, and Orlando – not to mention, our International Affiliates, International Training program, and impactful International Outreach Ministry. As we begin our next 40 years as a mission, we are striving to capture the synergy of being a larger organization as God continues to lead us in “Playing a Game to Change the World”.
SoCal Executive Director, Cody Snouffer, shared this message with the SoCal community: “At the beginning of an exciting season of growth – we want to take a step to align with the rest of our mission by retiring our Seahorse mascot this year, and taking the field as the Southern California Eagles, which is a common mascot through the rest of our mission locations.
While under a different logo, our mission remains the same: to introduce people to Jesus, to teach them to follow him, and to empower them as leaders through the global environment of soccer. We will strive for excellent soccer, authentic community, and spiritual formation across all our platforms for all our players, coaches, and families.
We hope that as you journey with us, you will have the opportunity to serve the local and global body of Christ while discovering your gifts and learning to play a game to change the world.”
