MAI is pleased to announce Cliff Wright has accepted the position as Executive Director of the Charlotte Eagles. Cliff comes with an impressive background in ministry serving with Young Life for over 16 years. Cliff has served with YL in Kentucky, Virginia and in North Carolina. For the past 6 years he has been serving in Charlotte as Metro Director and Associate Regional Director. During his tenure, YL saw significant growth in all aspects of ministry including YL Urban and the building a multi-ethnic staff. He has a passion and a desire to see missionaries increase in under-served communities.
Cliff also has a background in soccer playing in the Greensboro, NC area growing up with Piedmont Soccer Alliance as well as Centre College where he also served as team captain. He has also coached high school soccer in each of the areas he led YL. Last year he was the JV Head Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach at Cox Mill High School in Concord, NC.
Most importantly, Cliff is a man who has demonstrated a love for Jesus, his family and a commitment to full-time ministry. He has a passion for evangelism and discipleship and to grow teams. Please welcome Cliff and his wife, Laura who also has served with YL for those years, and their 4 children Keller (8), Asher (6), Pryor (3) and Ryder (2 months).
